Joseph Spierer, AIA
A California licensed architect, Joseph Spierer received his on-the-job training at Los Angeles and Redondo Beach architecture firms. Joseph approaches each project thoughtfully and creatively, drawing on his expertise in single & multi-family residential and commercial architecture.
Having designed homes all over the South Bay and beyond, Joseph is able to bring out the best in both ground-up construction and adaptive re-use, enabling clients to enjoy the process with more comfort and less stress.
Eileen Gueringer, RA, LEED AP
Eileen Gueringer graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Architecture and, soon after, became licensed to practice architecture in the state of California. Specializing in cities like Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Palos Verdes, Eileen has many years of experience in residential architecture as well as commercial projects and interior design. Over the years, she has gained expertise in the intricacies of zoning codes from Palos Verdes to Manhattan Beach and throughout Southern California.
She utilizes this knowledge and her design background to maximize project sites and help our clients realize their architectural goals.
Robert Lesaca, RA
A native of Southern California and a licensed architect, Robert Lesaca has gained a wealth of architectural experience living and working in various cities throughout the continent. As a foreign exchange student in Mexico City, Robert fell in love with the architectural profession, and he continues his world travels to enhance his appreciation and knowledge of architecture.
Robert has been integral in the design of many commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential buildings.
Raymond graduated from NewSchool of Architecture and Design with a Bachelor of Architecture. His education began in the urban environment of Downtown San Diego which further inspired him to continue the pursuit of architecture. He applies everything he has learned to his work, and he strives to improve the lives of those he designs for by considering the finer details of each structure.
Raymond is currently pursuing architectural licensure.
Gabriel has a Bachelor of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC). His past works are featured in university publications. Since graduation, Gabriel has worked in award-winning commercial architectural and design-build firms. He is an expert in advanced 3D modeling and graphic representation and applies that knowledge to his work at JSA.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports and creating art. In addition, Gabriel is a mentor at a Los Angeles academy where he assists young artists and designers aspiring to attend architecture schools and universities.
Bill graduated from Woodbury University with a Bachelor of Architecture. During his education, he studied in French Polynesia & Berlin, while focusing on sustainable design.
His professional experience includes commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and residential projects. His technical expertise in detailing and 3D modeling makes him a valuable asset to the JSA team.
Bill is taking the necessary steps toward architectural licensure and LEED accreditation.
Othávio gained the majority of his architectural experience in Brazil where he holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Urbanism degree from Unicentro Belas Artes de São Paulo and is a licensed architect. Since 2017, he has been practicing in California where he is currently pursuing his license. Othávio has delivered architectural designs for commercial and high-end residential buildings in Greater Los Angeles, including schematic design through construction documents and 3d modeling. He has experience delivering the full cycle of architecture projects, from initial design to construction. In his spare time, Othávio likes to take landscape photography and travel.
Karen is a native Southern Californian who grew up in the South Bay. She joined Joseph Spierer Architects after working in property management. She manages the office and is responsible for keeping JSA running smoothly and effectively. She does this through many administrative and personal tasks that allow the architectural staff to be as efficient as possible with your valued projects.
She continues to develop her love of real estate and is learning more and more about architecture from the JSA team.
An Ohio native, Stephanie moved to the South Bay after joining the Joseph Spierer Architects team. Stephanie completed her undergraduate studies in Marketing at Kent State University and is well versed in social media marketing, creative writing, and content strategy. Stephanie finds creative inspiration through the visual arts and music and uses this as a catalyst to devise an unconventional approach to marketing.
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys traveling, photography, and discovering new music.
